Prague - Over the weekend, work continued on the Boudy structure at the National Theatre piazza in Prague, where from June 1 to June 27, all three artistic ensembles, namely ballet, drama, and opera, will perform for the first time. Workers were covering the construction made of scaffolding pipes, where one side of the tiered auditorium has already been installed. Although it may not seem so, on June 1, as part of the Prague Spring, this traditional off-program will kick off with the world premiere of Lukas Hurnik's opera The Angels, prepared in co-production with the Children's Opera Prague and Czech Radio. The culmination of the project and the theatre season will be a theatre ball, which will take place at Boudy on June 28. The author of the architectural solution for Boudy III is Luboš Svoboda, and the project is once again under the patronage of the mayor of the Prague 1 district, Vladimír Vihan. Last year, the Boudy project did not take place due to the demanding preparations for the co-production of Wagner's Ring of the Nibelung.
