Two luxury houses are being built in Barrandov according to the design by Jiřičná

Prague - The company K+Devonská s.r.o. will construct 108 luxury apartments in two buildings in Barrandov, with the architectural study of the project designed by architects Eva Jiřičná and Petr Vágner. The construction, which will cost 540 million crowns, will be completed next August, said the investor representatives at today's groundbreaking ceremony.

Renowned architect Jiřičná lives in London, where she has had a studio since 1984. Her work has received numerous international awards, she serves on international juries, and she lectures around the world. In 1999, she established the AI - DESIGN studio in Prague with Petr Vágner.
The construction of the residence is divided into two phases, with the first phase consisting of a building with 58 apartments. These will range from 2+kk to 5+kk layouts. The construction of the second building will follow in the first quarter of next year.
The apartments on Devonská Street with views of Prague will be intended for wealthier clients, with an average price of 65 to 67 thousand crowns per square meter (including VAT). The investor is not worried about a lack of interest. "In six months since the sales began, we have already sold about 50 percent of the first phase," said Sky Barrandov's managing director Bronislav Cienciala.
The buildings are designed in energy class A, meaning they are exceptionally energy-efficient. All apartments will include a smart home management system. The authors of the interior layouts of the building are the P.H.A. studio led by Ondřej Gattermyer. The construction company Ridera is responsible for the building.
The market for new apartments in Prague has been growing recently. According to joint statistics from Ekospol, Trigema, and Skanska Reality, people bought 5,950 new apartments in Prague last year, which is an 18.6 percent increase year-on-year. In the first quarter of this year, a record 1,850 new apartments were sold in the capital, which is 37 percent more than last year. Therefore, developers are increasingly venturing into previously postponed luxury projects.
