Prague - One of the most expensive apartments in the Czech Republic, located on Liliová Street in Prague's Old Town, with a price that may reach hundreds of millions of crowns, has been listed by another real estate company. This is Sotheby's International Realty, which entered the domestic market in recent days. The company announced this in a press release today.
The luxury penthouse with a total area of 1,000 square meters was previously offered by the real estate agency Svoboda & Williams. However, this is not a classic property sale, where the apartment is sold, for example, on the internet or in advertisements. "The sale is not taking place officially. The apartment is essentially being offered discreetly," said Jaroslav Žižka, the sales director of Svoboda & Williams, to ČTK.
The sale based on personal meetings with "qualified buyers" was also confirmed by media representative Zdeněk Jakl from Sotheby's International Realty. "Given the uniqueness of this property, we are rather counting on interest from abroad; in the Czech Republic, there are really only a few individuals who could afford the purchase," he told ČTK.
The penthouse includes a private elevator that connects its top two floors with a medieval cellar. In addition to a private cinema and a wine cellar, the cellar also features a sauna and a pool.
The apartment is part of two renovated bourgeois houses from the 19th century. The developer of the project is GD Investments. According to the commercial register, its owner is Daniel Aalsvel from the United Kingdom. A total of 31 apartments and five studios were created from the renovation of both houses.
