Brno – This year, the Festival of Architecture will showcase the current phenomena of small-scale housing and so-called glamping, which will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre at the same time as the Building Fair 2023. The exhibition Tiny Houses will provide insights into small-scale housing. The second mentioned phenomenon is the increasingly popular luxury accommodation in nature, known as glamping. The Brno fairs informed about this in a press release.
The main themes of the festival will focus on small-scale housing and the future of construction. The program will also include presentations of both Czech and foreign tiny houses. "Approximately ten real houses will be on display, which people will be able to visit. Among them is a modular system from the Vizovice construction company Koma Modular, treehouses from Treebee.cz, the mobile home Mobile Hut, or Domeczech from the Brno company Estetico. However, houses from Slovakia and Poland will also be present," said fair manager Markéta Kamenická.
Tiny houses often have the size of a shipping container or are even smaller, some are entirely self-sufficient and do not require connection to any utilities. Their interiors are often very efficiently furnished with a number of original storage solutions. The festival will complement the methods and tips for small-scale housing with lectures and discussions.
The Building Fair, alongside the fairs Mobitex, Dřevo a stavby Brno, and the Festival of Architecture, will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre from March 2 to 4.
