Are you hesitating whether to apply for civil engineering or architecture? Do you want to know if a degree from our faculty will give you an advantage in the job market? Are you finishing high school and unsure if it will be a disadvantage for you in the entrance exams or during studies compared to candidates from construction schools? Are you interested in which architects and designers you will learn from? The open day is an opportunity to clarify everything you need to know before making your final decision. Come and we look forward to seeing you!
Well in advance of application submissions, you will familiarize yourself with our study programs, namely architecture and urbanism, landscape architecture, and design. You will learn everything essential about studying at the FA, the admission process, and the possibilities of enrolling in some preparatory courses; interested parties will also be able to attend a guided tour of the faculty building led by Professor Alena Šrámková. In addition to answering any questions regarding future studies, we will present not only studio teaching as a key component of the program but also the range of activities we engage in beyond mandatory education.
Do you want to find out what you are getting into? It's simple: come and take a look at us. You have the opportunity anytime, as the faculty hosts public lectures and also freely accessible exhibitions. Twice a year – in June and November – students will guide you through the faculty as part of the so-called open day. If you are serious about the entrance exams, you can also participate in an all-day workshop, where you can check your drawing, modeling, etc.
In the course, you will learn what you need to know for the entrance exams, and you can consult your own portfolio with the instructor. The capacity of each course is 15 people. Registration is possible until capacity is filled through a form that you can find by clicking on the selected date.
GUIDED TOURS OF THE FACULTY BUILDING Meeting point for participants at the cloakroom. Pre-registration for tours is not required.
