In Modena, the foundation stone of the Ferrari museum by Kaplický was laid

Modena (Italy) - The construction of the Enzo Ferrari Museum, founded by the legendary sports car brand, began on Monday in Modena with the symbolic laying of the cornerstone. The project is the work of the London-based studio Future Systems, which was founded and led by the late Czech architect Jan Kaplický.
The museum will consist of both the reconstructed house where Ferrari was born in 1898 and a newly constructed wing in a distinctive yellow color with rounded shapes and ribbing reminiscent of a sports car radiator. The building is expected to be completed in two years and will cost 15 million euros (406 million crowns).
According to the ANSA agency, the museum is to be part of an even larger project known as Motor Valley, which will commemorate the peaks of motorsport activities in the area between Modena and Imola. In addition to Ferrari, this region is also home to famous brands such as De Tomaso, Lamborghini, Maserati, Minardi, and Ducati.
Motor Valley will also include the so-called Galleria Ferrari at the company's headquarters in nearby Maranello, featuring an abundance of cars and memorabilia from the team that Enzo Ferrari founded in 1929.
The region anticipates that Motor Valley will become a significant tourist attraction. Guided tours will be offered in packages along with tickets to the most prominent motorsport events - namely Formula One, the MotoGP championship, and superbikes - held at the Imola circuit.
