    An unknown buyer invested the staggering amount in a 620 square meter apartment on the ninth floor of the Opus complex, which, with its glass, curving columns wrapping around the building—allegedly representing reeds swaying in a gentle breeze—bears a distant resemblance to the Dancing House in Prague by the same author.
    According to local real estate agents, the mentioned amount is the historically highest price ever paid for an apartment in Hong Kong.
    The Hong Kong Opus complex includes 12 residential units, one of which has already been sold for 55.5 million dollars (1.11 billion crowns). The most expensive apartment sold in the building, nestled on the slope of Victoria Peak, offers an impressive view of all of Hong Kong.
    Property prices in Hong Kong have recently skyrocketed due to an influx of wealthy buyers from mainland China and extremely low interest rates. Since the end of the global financial crisis in 2009, property prices in Hong Kong have reportedly doubled.
