Sixty-storey family house in Mumbai

Mukesh Ambani, the richest man in India, plans to build a sixty-story house in the center of Mumbai for his family, which will include a helicopter landing pad, a health center, hanging gardens, and a six-story garage. A staff of 600 employees will take care of the operation of the house, where Ambani will live with his wife, mother, and three children. Construction has already begun on the 175-meter tall tower, with completion planned for September 2008. Forbes magazine named Ambani the richest Indian at the beginning of this year, with a fortune of $20.1 billion, placing him 14th in the global rankings. Ambani is the director of Reliance Industries Ltd, the largest Indian company in the private sector.
