Unknown Mies van der Rohe

A small sensation took place last Wednesday at the press conference organized by the city of Wiesbaden. It was about the presentation of a villa from 1923, the author of which is Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The house for Ada Ryder is not groundbreaking in any way, and Mies himself, who was then working on more important Berlin projects, paid it little attention. The author of this overlooked building was identified through correspondence stored in the archive of New York's MoMA. Info>
