Sarajevo - A team consisting of UNESCO experts will soon travel to Bosnia to verify the authenticity of the alleged pyramid recently uncovered by archaeologists on the Visočica hill near the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo. Amateur pyramid discoverer Semir Osmanagić claims that it is not a hoax, but European archaeologists say that the pyramid in Bosnia and Herzegovina is nonsense.

The authenticity of the discovery has been confirmed by one of the Egyptian scientists who specialize in pyramids. According to him, it is a primitive pyramid from an as-yet-unknown period. On one side of the Visočica hill, there are reportedly stone blocks showing traces of cement that was used in the construction of Egyptian pyramids.
Osmanagić's team is currently continuing with further excavations. They are particularly interested in the Plješevica hill, which he refers to as the moon pyramid. The latest discovery is allegedly interspersed with tunnels connecting a total of three ancient pyramids.
