Do post-war buildings have a place in our history? The new exhibition at the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery „Post-War Architecture as Heritage“ focuses on the transformations of Prague's buildings from the years 1945–1989. How do we protect post-war buildings in Prague and how can they be adapted to the present so that they do not lose their artistic qualities? The exhibition will be opened with a vernissage on September 29 and will last until November 26, 2023. During its duration, visitors are invited to explore original plans and perspectives, photographs, and physical artifacts from some of Prague's monumentally protected buildings, as well as buildings that deserve protection. The exhibition will primarily focus on the history and current state of Prague's metro stations, but it will also include examples of several significant reconstructions of post-war architecture.

Opening hours: Wednesday – Sunday, 14:00 – 19:00
