Classic - guided tour in the VI PER gallery
Galerie VI invites you on Wednesday, June 5, 2017, at 6:00 PM for a guided tour of the exhibition Classic. The exhibition will be led by its curator and co-author of the concept, Jana Pavlová.
The Classic exhibition focuses on the development of the average Czech house as provided by design and construction companies, and as discussed in magazines. It is divided into five consecutive and escalating phases. Each phase is represented by one house that best represents the given period: it is the average house of its time, which aimed to be as accessible as possible to a wide range of those interested in family housing and which, in terms of the number of units sold, was among the most popular. Each phase is complemented by a series of texts that illuminate the contemporary situation and issues.
