Gallery NORMA SPACE celebrates its successful two-year presence

Galerie NORMA SPACE is celebrating its successful two-year presence in supporting and developing cultural and social discussions in the fields of architecture and urbanism. This year, you can look forward to many lectures, workshops, and events within thematic blocks City, Monuments, Mapping, and Landscape. The first of the upcoming events will be the exhibition Letters to the Mayor: Prague, which we warmly invite you to.



Galerie NORMA SPACE is a platform. It arises as an immediate response to the lack of a format for discussion about architecture. We test the space through the coexistence of disciplines, people, and art. We culturally activate Podskalí. Practice conditions our perspective, while theory sets the environment for critical discussion. We organize exhibitions, including accompanying programs. We initiate the creation of an international network of programmatically affiliated galleries, with which we create joint concepts for exhibitions and bring selected projects from their programs to Prague. We organize international conferences and facilitate residencies for foreign artists and architects. The program is designed for both the general public and professionals. We contribute to the creation of a contemporary identity for Podskalí, aiming to support local residents' interest in art, in the space where they live, and in the programs taking place there.
