The Architecture Gallery Brno will present the awarded projects of the Czech Architecture Award 2021, a competitive exhibition of the best Czech architecture organized by the Czech Chamber of Architects. You will get acquainted with the winning realization and the finalists of last year's edition, as well as the buildings that were selected by the jury in 2021 for the narrower circle of nominees. The exhibition opening will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 6:00 PM at the Architecture Gallery Brno, Starobrněnská 18. The exhibition will run until May 15, 2022, and will be open daily except for Mondays from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. In the finals of last year's Czech Architecture Award, the jury selected from seven entries. The main prize was awarded to Miroslav Pospíštil and Martin Karlík from the office atelier-r for the design of the reconstruction of the Helfštýn Castle. The winner and finalists were established from 30 nominated works that the Czech Chamber of Architects presented in June of this year. A total of 170 realizations completed in the last five years competed for the Czech Architecture Award in its 6th edition. Six Partner Awards were also given, and the Academy of the Czech Architecture Award simultaneously honored the exceptional effort made by architect Alice Šimečková in caring for Růžena Žertová.
