The Institute of Spatial Planning of the Faculty of Architecture at CTU, in collaboration with the Association for Urbanism and Spatial Planning, the Institute of Urbanism of the Faculty of Civil Engineering at CTU, the Institute of Design of the Faculty of Architecture at VUT, the Institute of Urbanism and Spatial Planning of the Faculty of Architecture at STU, and the Faculty of Architecture at Wrocław Polytechnic announces the second call for submissions for the XXI. edition of the student competition for the best urban project.

Projects can be submitted for the competition that are semester, annual, or bachelor's projects registered as an urban project in the academic year 2014/2015. Final diploma projects cannot be submitted. The evaluation focuses on the creative approach to solving pressing urban issues and the proposed urban concept.

The jury’s composition ensures a professional assessment of student work from both theoretical requirements and practical implementation perspectives. Awarded projects will be exhibited at the venues of all participating universities after the ceremonial announcement of the winners and will also be part of larger exhibitions (Architecture Week, AUÚP conference). Beyond these public presentations, the winning works will be published in the competition proceedings and in both online and printed media.
