The Bohuslav Fuchs Award is a newly revived student competition, now organized by the Student Community of the Faculty of Architecture. It is an award for the best student studio project. It is awarded twice a year by an independent jury, in the winter and summer semesters. The jury consists of recognized figures from the architectural scene, who do not work at FA VUT, and students – holders of this award from the previous semester. Confirmed participants include Ing. arch. Szymon Rozwałka, Ing. arch. David Kraus, and Ing. arch. MgA. Barbora Šimonová. Students in the jury will be represented by Bc. Martin Klaška and Blanka Štuříková. In the morning hours, the first selection will take place, from which the winning and awarded works will be chosen. The ceremonial announcement will take place in the afternoon in the courtyard of the Faculty of Architecture. The winning works of the XIII CBF will be announced during the ceremonial evening on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 6:30 PM in the courtyard of the Faculty of Architecture VUT, Poříčí 5 in Brno. This will be followed by a discussion about the projects, music, and free entertainment. We look forward to your participation.
