Announcement of the architectural competition "Urban House Dobříš"

The town of Dobříš, as a natural center and heart of the region, announces, in accordance with the requests and wishes of its citizens and non-profit organizations, an architectural competition aimed at developing a competition proposal for the Municipal House of Dobříš. The goal is to create a lifelong learning and information acquisition center, a pleasant meeting place for all age groups, a place for various, yet suitably complementary types of services. Activities should have a synergistic relationship, intertwining and supporting each other.

The competition is announced on September 18, 2008, as an open conceptual architectural and urban two-round anonymous competition. Following a successful and high-quality competition for the design of the reconstruction of Dobříš's square and the surrounding area, Dobříš has decided to prepare another competition of this kind. The members of the competition jury are again authorities from the field of architecture. These include Prof. Ing. arch. Ladislav Lábus, Ing. arch. Josef Pleskot, JUDr. PhDr. Jiří Plose, and Ing. arch. MgA. Pavel Nasadil.

The submission date for competition proposals in the first round of the competition is set for
