In last year's Petr Parléř Prize, architects responded to the pressing question of Vodňany regarding what to do with the leaves in the area of the former Škorna pond. This year, Vodňany is once again posing a similar question to Petr P., but within the framework of an independent architectural competition, this time in connection with the local cultural house. What to do with the leaves in its gutters? Can the problem of leaves be resolved without changing the very essence of the cultural house? Probably not...
To familiarize yourself with the context (trees, house operations, context, urbanism, Vodňany) and the interior of the house, a tour is prepared that will explore more than just the gutters. It begins on site on Tuesday, March 6, at 1:00 PM, which can be reached by taking the pendolino at 7:41 AM from Ostrava to Prague and then a bus at 11:15 AM from Knížecí. From Brno, the Rožmberk train at 7:30 AM via Číčenice. From Liberec, a bus at 9:30 AM to Prague, and then from Knížecí as when traveling from Ostrava. Alternatively, you can reserve a spot for your trip via an organized auto-tour at the mailing address. The meeting point is at Josefská Street by ČKA at 11:00 AM.
