Superstudio 2016 - Call for Participation

Superstudio is a team-based conceptual competition for architecture students regardless of their year or school. It takes place non-stop over 24 hours, with the theme being revealed to the participants only at the start of the competition. The competition originates from Australia, where it is organized by SONA, and in the Czech Republic, it is held by agreement and with the consent of the original organizers. Superstudio takes place on academic grounds in all cities with architecture education (Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Liberec). Anyone studying in the Czech Republic at the time of the event can participate for free. The final presentations are, if possible, accessible to the public.

Application for the upcoming edition will be possible via a form starting from 6:00 PM on Monday February 15, 2016.

Round One will take place on the 26th to 27th of February 2016 traditionally in Ostrava at FAST VŠB, in Liberec at FUA TUL, in Brno at FAST VUT, and in Prague at FSV ČVUT.

The best teams from each city that advance to the second round will present their projects live in front of a professional jury in a classic format a week later on Saturday March 5, 2016 at PRAHA space on Husova Street 18 in Brno.
