1st prize (110 thousand CZK) Authors: Moloarchitekti s.r.o. / MgA. Pavel Griz, MgA. Tereza Kučerová, MgA. Patrik Zamazal Jury evaluation: The proposal in the 2nd round very suitably elaborated the terms of the competition, both materially and spatially, with a concept suitable for implementation. The planned completion of the blocks has appropriate proportions and placement. The work with the banks of the Žernovník stream is also beneficial, creating additional urban-forming nooks. The proposed spaces are diverse, have an appropriate scale, and enrich both the place and the city. The proposal has clearly defined uses for the future-developable areas, with all implementation stages being valuable. The question remains the form of technical solution for the 3rd class road and its delineation with posts. The jury recommends the proposal for implementation.
2nd prize (70 thousand CZK) Authors: Atelier Urbi s.r.o. Jury evaluation: Clear urban composition of the place, which calms, suitably defines the proportions of public spaces in relation to the location, and complements the existing structure with moderate building volumes. The success of the implementation of the 1st phase is conditioned by a relatively demanding investment in the retaining wall and structures under the bell tower. The composition and relationship of the trio of objects and the retaining wall to the church complex are controversial. The jury appreciates the volume, scope, and formal quality of the entire work.
3rd prize (50 thousand CZK) Authors: Ing.arch. Daniel Baroš, Ing.arch. Michal Nejezchleb Jury evaluation: The urban high-quality concept is elaborated in many sub-parts, detailed to the extreme, which, however, in the end do not give a harmonious whole. Its full implementation is dependent on property legal settlement. The jury highly values the sensitive work with urban detail, but the material detail is unsuitable for this area. It is one of the few proposals that address the relationship between both riverbanks.
