Biography
Markus Ostertag studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts in 1989 in the master's program of Prof. Gustav Peichl. In 1990, he co-founded the NFOG studio (Nigst-Fonatti-Ostertag-Gaisrucker), which he led until 2000, when he established his own architectural practice, ostertagARCHITECTS, which also engages in research and consulting work. He operates in fields that extend beyond architecture, such as mobility, social, economic, and ecological sustainability, flexibility, and politics.
