JSWD is an architectural office with approximately 280 employees from 30 countries, operating on an international level. JSWD was founded in 2000 by four partners: Jürgen Steffens, Olaf Drehsen, and brothers Konstantin and Frederik Jaspert. The partners began their architectural careers as students at RWTH Aachen. Their further professional development was initially influenced by Günter Behnisch and Volkwin Marg. In recent years, JSWD has completed more than 60 projects in Germany and increasingly in other European countries, often based on successfully won competitions. In 2010, the company "JSWD Health Care" was also established.
From 2024 onwards, the company JSWD will be led by founding partners Olaf Drehsen and Frederik Jaspert, partners Christian Mammel, Mario Pirwitz, and Tobias Unterberg, as well as associates Hermann Norda and Helmut Schröder.
