Joshua Prince Ramus

Prince-Ramus may have an aversion to the cult of personality, but he himself creates an impressive impression. Tall, with short-cropped hair, icy blue eyes, and strong hands revealing his rowing past (he was a finalist for the men's Olympic team in 1996). Before he began studying architecture at Harvard (Master of Architecture 1996), he studied philosophy at Yale University (Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy 1991). He was a partner at Araldo Cossutta and SOM. Since 1996, he has worked for OMA. In 2001, he became a partner in the office, founded OMANY in Manhattan, and led most of OMA's projects in the USA. After marriage, he added his wife's surname - Prince - to his name. On the inner side of one of his powerful arms, he has a tattoo of a quote by E. E. Cummings: “Still beautiful answers, for the one who asks beautiful questions.”
