Filipe Afonso is a Portuguese architect and researcher who founded the studio Arquitectos Anónimos in 2006 with a branch in Hong Kong. He develops a methodology based on advanced calculations. He has participated in several exhibitions, lectures, and workshops and has published extensively. He currently serves as an assistant professor at CUHK. He has lectured and guest hosted at various institutions in Portugal, Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Slovenia, South Korea, and the United States.
