The program itself affect to the cultural center has evolved with the development of the project and set up a series of spaces that are interrelated to each other - a concert hall (520 seats), exhibition rooms / facilities plastics, technical areas and support a car park (220 spaces) in basement and exterior commercial spaces in conjunction with public space.
Thus, a square is the meaning of this public open space and the material of your floor is the micro-cube basalt black Azores that exogenous to the city environment, builds the 'carpet' on which were placed the two buildings housing the cultural equipment. Walking in the spaces surrounding white limestone was used, in common use in the city, resuming relations of continuity of color, texture and brightness with the existing urban atmosphere.
The main function of this equipment is developed inside the glass box and diaphanous that informs the foyer and gives a natural light tempered and calm. The volume of two floors set itself a range of necessary relation to the building of the Town Hall and character more welcoming to the new square.
In the auditoriun design - a construction box-in-box maximizes sound insulation - were implemented elements diffusers and mechanisms for acoustic variable order to be able to host events of distinct features (music, cinema, theater, dance, conferences).
