The plot with the building is located in Zbýšov in the Sička area. There are only a few apartment buildings here, while the surrounding areas are used by gardeners. The Sička district was created around a mining area that is no longer in operation. Part of the mining complex includes a steel mining tower and a changing room building. A natural landmark is the nearby spoil heap, which is forested and is becoming a destination for walks and trips. On the plot, there was originally a two-story building that was the subject of reconstruction. The house originally served as the administrative building of the mining area. It had a gable roof with a modern extension. It was designed as a three-part structure with a central corridor running along its length.

We conceptualized the house as a villa with six apartments. Each floor always has a pair of apartments, designed as 3+kk. All apartments have spacious loggias or terraces. Residents of the ground-floor apartments also have their own gardens, which are at the level of the living areas and which are separated by hedges from the communal garden. The main entrance and access to the garden have been newly designed in line with the house. They directly connect to a two-armed staircase, centrally located inside the house. We proposed to remove the gable roof and created a full-fledged floor. The extension retreats from the street. Its material solution is different from the main mass. The building is topped with a flat roof with prominent overhangs around the perimeter. In the side "wings" of the house, we create spacious loggias. The regular arrangement of window openings in the exterior wall has been preserved, with the windows designed to be wooden. In the basement, there are cellars for each apartment and two technical rooms.
