The headquarters of the construction company Contex

The project requirement arises from a competition for the design of a branch of a construction company, whose construction program was diverse – a winery, a workshop, offices, and a sales point. The idea of the design is based on the diversity of materials, visible structure, and basic shapes as architectural elements that are present in the company's projects. It consists of four separate buildings constructed on a concrete base. The objects are connected by walkways that are raised above a vast area of pebbles, which serve the function of drainage to absorb surface water during winter months. The winery is characterized by its steel structure and cladding made of corrugated aluminum sheets, while the workshop space is emphasized by wooden paneling. The offices are made of exposed concrete with steel blinds. The wholesale is executed as a glass pavilion with a steel structure.
