The municipality of Staré Město is a kind of suburb of Frýdek - Místek. On its outskirts, which connect to fields and meadows, there is a small-scale development of family houses, reminiscent of those seen in the suburbs of larger cities. The views into the landscape of fields and meadows direct towards the green hills of the Beskydy. On this border, a vast and low house has been built, formed by two interconnected houses with a corridor, into which the main entrance is placed. The façade made of facing bricks does not stop at the corridor but smoothly continues through it, so one is always rather between the houses than inside a house. From the entrance area, there is a sightline that leads through the outdoor relaxation area of the sauna to the garden. The structures are approximately the same size in plan, but one has a gable roof while the other has a flat roof. The gradation of masses clearly captures the functional division of the two houses. The lower one serves purely private functions, whereas the higher one logically becomes the social and living heart of the house. The houses are positioned parallel to each other, but they are offset relative to one another so that all living rooms have the best possible view of the Beskydy panorama. Each living room thus has a changing landscape image instead of one of its walls. The composition of the two masses is complemented by a third mass of the garage, which is situated parallel to the residential houses in the northeastern part of the plot. Between the garage and the house, an entrance courtyard is created. A similar effect is also achieved by the aforementioned mutual offset, which gives rise to a more intimate part of the garden with a swimming pond, bordered on two sides by the house's terrace.

In the interior of the living area, an open timber structure of laminated wood is utilized. On the 2nd floor of the living part, there is a gallery - reading room and a smaller room that can serve as a guest bedroom. Access to the gallery is through an open staircase, from which a library grows, and together they form a striking element of the interior. The living area is divided by a half-height wall with a see-through fireplace into a living room and dining area. An open kitchen then follows.

Between the two parts of the family house, besides the connecting corridor, there is also an outdoor relaxation area with a small cooling pool. This directly adjoins the gym with a sauna. The relaxation area can become part of the sightline from the entrance to the garden, or conversely, a completely closed box. These various situations or their combinations can be modeled with a pair of vertical blinds and a roof with adjustable slats.

The outer structure of the building is sandwich construction. It consists of an inner load-bearing part made of masonry and an outer layer, which is built from facing bricks. Between the inner load-bearing layer and the outer visible layer is a ventilated gap and thermal insulation. HPL board cladding is used on the garage and garden pavilion.

Above the northern structure (the social part), a gable roof with a wooden truss made of laminated wood elements has been designed. The roofing is made of titanium zinc with a standing seam. All plumbing structures are made of the same material. The southern mass has a flat single-layer roof with internal drains. The roofs of the garage, garden pavilion, and the shelter over the terrace have a wooden structure with visible rafters.

All windows, large-scale glazing to the terrace, and entrance doors are made from wood-aluminum profiles with insulating triple glazing. In the majority of cases, these are elements with hidden frames. The openings of the living rooms consist of a combination of fixed parts and sliding wings. Window openings are complemented with external shutters.
