The house in the small village of Zlatá near Prague is designed as a compact structure with a distinctive and self-assured architectural articulation of the individual facades. The house has the classic shape and proportions of rural houses, but its design is decidedly modern. Furthermore, the house is adorned with modern facades and high-quality shading technology. A prominent feature is the two awnings above the entrance and the main glazed area of the living room, which serve several functions. The first is, of course, to provide protection from rain, the second to shield against sunlight, and the third is that recessed spotlights are integrated into them, which unobtrusively ensure the illumination of the terrace and the entrance area. The simple and functional solution is also reflected in the interior of the building. A significant requirement from the client for the interior was a higher ceiling height in the rooms. This element, along with large glazed areas to the south and west, greatly influenced the quality result of proportions in the interior.
