Family Winery Škrobák

For three generations, the Škrobák family has been managing vineyards in Čejkovice, South Moravia. The latest generation has been inspired by the modern architecture typical of Austrian wineries and the combination of wine and gastronomy.
The expansive building embedded in the hillside in South Moravian Čejkovice was originally created solely for the purposes of wine production and storage. Changes in gastro-tourism trends led to the intention to repurpose it for a new use. Wine production is hidden in the basement, while the ground floor now serves as a large social space with a modernly equipped kitchen. The first floor provides several separate rooms for accommodation purposes. The entire space was designed with an emphasis on maximum openness both of the individual floors and the view of the landscape.
