The office project Oregon Park has been designed to provide a combination of high specification and efficient office spaces with an emphasis on low energy consumption. The project is located in the northeastern part of the city known as Barbu Vacarescu-Floreasca, on the site of a revitalized industrial zone (former warehouse and manufacturing hall) with an attractively landscaped area of 4 ha. The project consists of three separate administrative buildings with underground parking, with a total office area of 70,500 m². The buildings have a regular H-shaped floor plan, ranging in size from 1,800 m² to 3,600 m². The intention of the developer and designer in the implementation of Oregon Park was to create administrative buildings with fewer floors (ground floor + 6 above-ground floors), open to the surroundings with green public spaces and good connections to the urban communication infrastructure.
The administrative buildings offer Class A office spaces accessible through a brightly lit shared entrance atrium open throughout the height of the building. Outdoor landscaping includes park zones, covered seating with glazed canopies, and an information system. Commercial amenities include a bank branch, pharmacy, café, and restaurant. In the most recently completed building, a fitness studio is also available.
Oregon Park is one of the few places in Bucharest that also offers excellent transport connections to the center of Bucharest. It is close to the Aurel Vlaicu metro station and tram and bus public transport.
The project was designed in accordance with the British ecological certification BREEAM at the EXCELLENT level, where parameters such as the impact on the environment, water and energy consumption, materials used, indoor environmental quality, transport connections, and user qualities necessary for efficient work in these buildings were evaluated during the project implementation.
Oregon Park received the CEEQA 2018 award in the category of "Best Building of the Year in the Southeast European Region" (Overall Building of the Year SEE).
