Museum of Modern Art

A proponent of the postmodern movement, Austrian architect Hans Hollein, created one of the classic examples of this movement in Frankfurt am Main. However, the playful facade did not penetrate the interior; the museum's interior is designed quite rationally and prioritizes the impact of the artworks. Hollein's specialty is the development of Loos's Raumplan, and the Frankfurt museum is typical of this style.
