Minipivovar Trautenberk was created by reconstructing the original Tippelt's cabin, later known as the Hotel Družba. The building is located in the northeastern part of the village of Horní Malá Úpa. It is situated very close to the road leading to the state border with Poland. The building offers views of the Pomezní Hřeben and the valley of Malá Úpa. From the side of the main road, it is possible to observe the slopes of the adjacent ski resort.
During the reconstruction, the building was cleaned of numerous renovations that took place in the second half of the last century. The exterior features traditional wooden cladding with a stone plinth, complemented in the area of a later extension by a façade made of standing seam metal.
In the underground floor of the building, a new microbrewery was established with a maximum capacity of 10,000 hectoliters of beer per year. The interior of the restaurant on the ground floor is dominated by original refurbished lighting from the First Republic era. The upper floors, in a practical standard for mountain accommodation, offer beds for 130 guests.
