Subtle play of light and shadow haiku transcribed by the sun through the shop windows into the interior invites along the street of Dukelských hrdinů to the Veletržní Palace for a pause, reflection.

I slow my step
I will come much later
but I see more

Those who cannot get enough of the beauty of the verses of Petr Petříček can enter. But even those whom haiku miss and just want to eat, meet someone, or simply be alone for a while and observe the surrounding hustle. The lightness and calm atmosphere draw not only from the open space, high ceilings, and good light. The new concept of a vegan bistro is built on long-standing experience, its unforced approach to veganism and life. With a wider team skilled from previous implementations, it has been possible to create a place that offers options at the lower edge of Prague's Letná. The renowned pub U Sv. Antoníčka couldn't wish for a better neighbor.
The ground floor of the corner building with generous display windows has served shops and services since its construction led by architect and builder František Leypold. The original separate shops were progressively connected, and the motif of the wide internal portal broken by the load-bearing wall defined the direction of the main renovations. By relocating the kitchen deeper into the layout of the house and raising the remaining portals, it was possible to connect the entire area with a binding to the ground floor. The existing windows in aluminum frames are used with minimal interventions, even though they are not perfect - it is not necessary to change everything.
Clean, minimalist surfaces are intentionally designed as a neutral background for the colors of the dishes, people, and events inside. The space is dominated by a wooden self-service counter with a glass refrigerated display and essential gastro equipment. The main view framed by four regular portals is closed off by a wooden slatted wall with hidden doors to the guests' back area. Other wooden elements are custom-made from ash, which colors the interior built on a combination of light gray walls, stains, and ceramic mosaics. Everything is united by clean white paint and indoor greenery growing in various forms throughout the space.
Seating options range from a classic table "for two," higher bar tables and counters in the display windows, to bench seating, a large table for groups, and individual bar stools at suspended metal tables, catering to various situations and moods. Seating directly under the leaves of trees in season extends to the street in the form of a summer garden.
