Interiors of ManpowerGroup
Address: Administrativní centrum Florentinum, Prague, Czech Republic
Completion:2014
Area:1100 m2

To the Prague offices of ManpowerGrouptm in the Florentinum administrative building, we provided a complete interior delivery designed on the principles of the Living Office concept by HermanMiller. We created a unique and attractive working environment that fosters better connections among employees, increased creativity and performance, ultimately benefiting everyone. The Living Office concept recognizes that each field of activity is different. We believe that space can serve as a powerful tool for expressing a specific corporate culture and developing its unique ambitions. Therefore, it is not a one-size-fits-all solution. Each Living Office concept is unique, based on the specific goals, nature, and activities of the users.

The implementation over an area of more than 1,100 m² included workstations for 60 people at the company's headquarters, as well as additional meeting, conference, and social spaces. For this extensive project, we used products from most brands in our portfolio, but primarily office furniture from HermanMiller, as well as products from brands like BuzziSpace, Enea Design, and Viccarbe. We also supplied custom furniture, flooring, acoustic solutions, special lighting, and wall-mounted graphic cutting.

To design the office interior of the new ManpowerGroup headquarters, it was essential to conduct an initial analysis to understand the needs of individual employees and departments of the company through interviews, allowing us to develop an appropriate space plan. Our final design was then handed to architect Lubor Sladký from the architectural studio S.H.S architekti, whose task was to bring color order and "genius loci" to the interior.

THE FIRST LIVING OFFICE IN OUR REGION

Modern offices should be attractive and should allow the application and development of those capabilities and skills that drive innovation and performance, bringing the company's strategy to life. This is exactly how Tomáš Radvak, the marketing specialist at ManpowerGrouptm, envisioned the appearance of the new headquarters. “When negotiating with competing companies about the design of our offices, we felt they were only trying to sell us the maximum amount of partitions. The proposals featured long, inefficiently used corridors, cramped closed offices, or, conversely, sterile open spaces. With cre8, we were captivated by a completely different approach, where there was a detailed interest at the beginning in the functioning of the entire company, teams, and individuals, and only afterwards was a space plan proposal presented to us, described as a concept to support collaboration and employee performance, rather than just a way to arrange offices."

"Our first presentation was successful, but the decisive and key factor in promoting the Living Office concept is always the opinion of the company's management. Therefore, we also met with Jaroslava Rezlerová, the General Director of ManpowerGroup Czech Republic and Slovakia, and presented the concept to her. However, not in the boardroom, but in an informal setting - in a café, since informality is one of the pillars of the Living Office concept," explains Jan Bastař, one of the two partners of cre8.

“Initially, we weren’t able to specify exactly what we were looking for, but we were sure we wanted to move away from monotonous meeting rooms and standardized workstations to a modern working environment. We aimed to connect individual teams, support communication, and simultaneously create a comfortable home-like working environment where people feel good. Furthermore, due to our company's annual growth by dozens of percent, we needed to create a flexible space plan that would allow for expansion and team reshuffling. Therefore, we decided to build the new headquarters of ManpowerGroup according to the Living Office concept, which is unique in many ways, and we hope it will support innovative capabilities, performance, and the strategic goals of our company," says Jaroslava Rezlerová, General Director of ManpowerGroup.
