<Foyer>Foyer</Foyer>
Address: Tusarova 31, Holešovice, Prague, Czech Republic
Investor:Marslab
Completion:2023
Area:120 m2

The foyer, in its original meaning, referred to the area around a fireplace. Nowadays, it denotes a social hall that serves for refreshment and relaxation for the audience during breaks. The foyer remains true to the meaning of the word and is enriched with relaxation workspaces for both short-term and long-term tasks. The space serves as a showroom for the Mar.slab store concept, while simultaneously functioning as a co-working hub, an occasional event spot, or a photography studio. In this multifunctional space, industrial aesthetics, deep design, and a calm environment for focused work in a co-working setting come together.

The genius loci of the place, along with selected products, creates an inspiring and functional environment not only for design enthusiasts. Every corner has its own purpose, whether it’s for product presentations, creative meetings within the co-working space, or organizing unforgettable events. In the foyer, you can present your products and projects in a style that emphasizes their uniqueness and quality. The space is designed to create a creative background and leave an unforgettable impression on its users. The dual functionality of the space communicates and complements each other very well. At the same time, you can utilize the co-working hub for efficient meetings and collaboration with other creative individuals, surrounded by contemporary Czech and international design.

Last but not least, the Foyer project also includes a showroom concept-store Marslab, which intertwines objects from local designers and artists with production from smaller European furniture manufacturers. This Foyer-Showroom places a strong emphasis on the curation of products selected from the Marslab portfolio. The gem of this space is a light fixture by Jiří Krejčiřík hanging above a table from Vicarrbe, surrounded by a selection of more comfortable chairs from the Italian manufacturer Arrmet, which has a long history. In the meeting room, the chairs also come from Arrmet, this time from the Kiyumi collection, along with an atypical light fixture by Jaroslav Chramosta. The entrance features an installation in the form of soft seating with a dresser and coffee tables from nozomi.furniture, a comfortable sofa, and an armchair from Comforty. And because the foyer brings together art lovers, the space is literally intertwined with art objects from Kombo studio, paintings by Patrik Kriššák and Maxima Havlíček. This project focuses on achieving maximum harmony between aesthetics and functionality, aiming to create a space full of individuality and quality.
