The existing administrative building from the early 1980s is located in an administrative-production area on the outskirts of Brno's Medlánky and serves as the headquarters of a significant energy company. The reconstruction focused primarily on improving the energy standard and modernizing the architectural expression of the building, with minimal interventions in the internal layouts. The proposed solution retains the original massing – a recessed entrance floor, highlighted by the use of dark cladding, and a four-story main mass in a combination of white plaster and dark gray infill. The original ribbon windows with a ceramic window sill panel were replaced with a regular grid of windows with a masonry sill and inter-window pillars. A characteristic feature of the building is the dynamically designed steel awning above the main entrance.
