From the street, the anonymous wood-clad single-storey structure is the absolute opposite of the facade visible from the garden, where the building opens up as a two-storey horizontal structure with a distinct division of the facade made of black sheet metal and glazed walls...

The family house, built on a complex plot on a southern slope, allows for maximum sunlight utilization and provides a wonderful view of the town of Pelhřimov. The facade of the house is minimalist, covered in black metal, whose vertical division gives the building an elegant and clean look. This material, unobtrusive by itself, stands out when combined with the greenery around the house, which helps harmonize the structure with the surrounding nature.
The house is designed to be "anonymous from the street." This ensures greater intimacy and privacy for its inhabitants. The driveway and entrance area are hidden behind wooden cladding, preventing the house from disrupting the surrounding landscape. On the contrary, the main living spaces are opened towards the garden through glazed areas that create a seamless transition between the interior and exterior.
Large windows on the southern side of the house not only allow for natural light intake but also provide panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This openness of the house to the garden is key to its overall connection with nature. Besides the aesthetic value, it brings practical advantages – residents have direct contact with the outdoor space, which enhances the feeling of spaciousness.
