The reason for building two houses was the idea of highlighting minimally ergonomic modern living in a natural environment. The goal was to create a residence, whether permanent or weekend, with timeless parameters of functionality and design embedded in the surrounding environment of a golf resort. In the early stages, it was necessary to reassess the brief – the size, essential rooms, their orientations, the technology needed, and the need and way to address privacy. The size of the houses is the same; they differ in the arrangement system of individual spaces, vertical versus horizontal. This arrangement contributed to the fact that the multi-story house is, in a way, an extrovert, while the single-story house is an introvert. The houses seek the ideal ratio between privacy and communication with the surroundings, between functionality and beauty, between requirements and possibilities. The foundation of the house is a cube – a living room with a kitchen, dining table, fireplace, and terrace, or terraces. It includes 2 bedrooms with separate bathrooms. The remaining spaces provide the necessary comfort – entrance, storage, and wardrobe. The houses have direct access to water and a view of the hole of a championship golf course.
