The goal of the design was to adjust the apartment in a new building both in layout and furnishings to meet the needs of its owners for recreational accommodation.

First of all, it was necessary to structurally enlarge the bathroom while also visually separating the view into the apartment from the common hallway, which was achieved by removing the volume of the shower from the original layout of the bathroom.

Another requirement was to create sufficient storage space for the clients and their family, who will use the apartment. Conceptually, the main material for furniture production was beech plywood with a transparent coating enriched with white pigment to lighten the material. This is repeated in the furniture of each of the rooms.

Color-wise, the apartment is complemented with eucalyptus green on the tall kitchen cabinets, which smoothly transition into the walls of the newly created space and are also repeated in the shower enclosure tiles in the bathroom.

A more pronounced color accent is the design-famous Ironica chairs from the brand TON in salmon pink. To increase the comfort and usability of the apartment for more people, a sofa with a foldable full-size mattress is used. The sofa and bed are designed in the same upholstery in earthy tones, as are the remaining draperies, to enhance the feeling of warmth and the comfort of home.
