The contemporary, almost minimalist approach to buildings is a loose reinterpretation of the traditional shapes of the original architecture in the Jesenicko region. The basic mass on a rectangular footprint is topped with a classic gable roof. Both structures are completely clad in a typical locally sourced material – larch shingles in their natural finish.
In contrast to the "soft," darkening untreated larch cladding of the main body of the houses, we remove spaces for the loggias. They then sparkle crystallinely with colorful glass mosaics and, along with the strictly square windows of the same frame color, define the character of the objects.
