Finance Manager
We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join us at the CHYBIK + KRISTOF HQ in Brno. Join our internationally acclaimed studio and redefine boundaries in architecture. Founded in 2010 by Ondrej Chybik and Michal Kristof, we are an architecture and urban design practice with offices in London, Brno, Prague, and Bratislava and over 60 architects. CHYBIK + KRISTOF is successfully expanding into new markets, and we’re looking for a key addition to our team. We invite you to join our team in Brno as a Finance Manager, overseeing the financial operations and strategies that support our growth and expansion efforts. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the financial health and success of our studio.
About the Role:
● Ensure effective management of financial resources and implementation of strategic financial initiatives.
● Provide valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
● Manage communication of payment transactions with foreign clients and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
● Oversee the recording of incoming and outgoing invoices for the accounting company, ensuring accurate entry into the company's internal system and issuance of invoices.
● Provide oversight of summaries of liabilities and receivables, project costs, and cash flow, ensuring thorough understanding and proactive management of financial resources.
● Collaborate with the accounting company and project managers to address any financial inquiries or issues and ensure effective communication between departments.
● Act as a representative in the absence of the finance director, providing leadership and guidance on financial matters as needed.
About You:
● Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
● A proactive approach to financial management, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.
● Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, showing responsibility and reliability.
● Czech or Slovak as a native language
● Proficiency in English is required, as well as proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
