Biography
Wacław Hryniewicz is a Polish architect who graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Wrocław University of Technology in 1972. From 1973 to 1984, he was employed at the design offices Inwestprojekt and Miastoprojekt. He is a co-author of the housing estates Nowy Dwór and Kuźniki, buildings in the Gądów and Kozanów housing estates, as well as on Piwna, Ładna, Nowowiejska, and Jedności Narodowej streets, and the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of Peace. He also prepared plans for the adaptation of the Wrocław armory into the Construction Archive and Archaeological Museum, the Royal Palace into the Wrocław City Museum, and the Actor's House into the Ethnographic Museum.
In 1979, he worked in Kuwait and Algeria, where he designed, among other things, the Fintas Center in Kuwait and the Annaser district in Algeria. Since 1984, he has been running his own architectural office in Wrocław. He is the recipient of the City of Wrocław Award.
