Biography
Son of the prominent Slovenian designer Saša Mächtig. He graduated in architecture from the University of Ljubljana in 1998. In 2000, he continued his specialized studies at the Gnomon School for Visual Effects and Computation in Hollywood. Since 1995, when they won the competition for the residential complex Mostec, he has collaborated with Urša Vrhunc and in 2003, he established the joint studio Maechtig Vrhunc Architects in Ljubljana.
