BiographyThomas Kissling studied architecture at ETH Zurich, having previously apprenticed as a draftsman. He completed his studies in 2010 under the guidance of Professor Wolfgang Schett. Since 2010, he has been working at ETH as a lecturer, and since 2016 as a researcher in the department of Professor Günther Vogt. In his teaching and research, he focuses on transformational processes in alpine landscapes and topics related to design methodology at the intersection of digital and analog technologies and practices. Kissling is a co-editor of the publications
"Landscape as a Cabinet of Curiosities" (2015) and
"Mutation and Morphosis" (2020) and the editor of the publication
"Solid, Fluid, Biotic" (2021).
