Biography
Stefan de Koning has experience in design, interior design, and architecture. After working for several artists and designing for the Dutch Opera, he joined the Rotterdam studio MVRDV in 2001. Due to his conceptual talent, he managed to win many international competitions and tenders for MVRDV, including Gyre in Tokyo (2007) and Peruri 88 in Jakarta (2012). From 2010, he supervised projects in India and Indonesia, which led to his appointment as director of one of the most dynamically developing branches of MVRDV.
