Biography
After completing his architecture studies at ETH (1995), he founded his own office "Boltshauser Architekten AG" in 1996. At the same time, he conducted research as an assistant professor at the Institute of History and Theory of Architecture (1996-98) and worked as an assistant to Peter Märkli at ETH in Zurich and EPFL in Lausanne (1997-99). From 2004 to 2010, he taught design at the University of Applied Sciences in Chur (HTW), and from 2005 to 2009, he taught second-year students at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (DIA) and at the Institute of Architecture in Chur (CIA). In 2016-17, he served as a visiting professor at EPFL in Lausanne and in 2017-18 at TU Munich. Since 2018, he has been a visiting professor at ETH in Zurich.
