![]() A somewhat imprecise formulation of the term. It should more accurately be called garden architecture. As a category, it is quite broad. Ranging from hard manipulation to humility. Where does the landscape end and the garden begin? Except for specific cases, there is no boundary. But it can arise from misunderstanding. What are the current trends in landscape architecture, is there a contemporary style? There are certainly several trends, especially if we do not limit ourselves to our country. Besides natural gardens, which maximally arise from the genius loci of the place, it is rather individual creators with a characteristic handwriting who then have more or less capable imitators. Unfortunately, there is something like a "mainstream" in our profession, but it is not worth writing about. Which three projects do you consider to be the most characteristic of your work? A difficult question, if you do not want to specialize in a certain type of projects. Otherwise, it is more appropriate to talk about projects that are the closest. In this sense, these could be: - intimate revitalization of the Dálky quarry - Mr. Trnka's garden in Brno - atrium of the ombudsman's office (original form) in Brno What experience do you have with lay clients and architect clients? The dividing line does not lead here. There are only generally clients with whom you understand or not. Have you been impressed by the work of any colleagues or recent projects? I really like the idea from Martha Schwartz's workshop for Expo in Malmö, Sweden – "Willow of the future". An abstract nylon willow in the context of the growth of live willows in the vicinity. Also, the garden of Ms. Nicole de Vesian in Provence, a long-term work of the owner, is amazing, for example. The English translation is powered by AI tool.
