A railing in symbiosis with the staircase can create a design gem in any interior or exterior. The basic construction and material execution of the railing currently corresponds, apart from important safety, with timeless minimalism, which is a sought-after design trend at the moment.

Minimalist modern interior concepts are catered to by railings that do not compromise on safety but have nothing superfluous. "A simple, timeless, straightforward construction that naturally blends with other interior elements in the same spirit is currently favored. This is the requirement of residential architects and designers that we strive to meet,” explains Petr Paksi, managing director of JAP FUTURE.

Railings can have various material executions, and their versions for interiors and exteriors can be designed in unison. In addition to classics in wood or metal, an interesting option is the glass version of the railing. In this type of railing, the basic construction consists of laminated tempered glass, which is either placed into supports between columns made of stainless steel – model GENTLE, or it is anchored from the side of the staircase on so-called stainless sockets – model TRANSPARENT. Glass railings are suitable for complementing with a handle in stainless or wooden execution. Columns including supports, sockets, and handles are manufactured in RAL shades upon customer request.

Stainless steel is widely used, especially due to its durability and easy maintenance. "It's not that traditional materials are being massively abandoned today, but classic steel is coming to the forefront,” adds Petr Paksi and continues: "We are noticing an increase in demand for railings whose basic construction consists of a steel frame with various types of infill, whether it's flat strips, steel rods, or stainless cables. These are the models BLADE, SAME, FANTASY, and ZIG ZAG. We offer them in different color shades, but customers most often choose a final coating in black."
