The announcement of the winner of the first edition of the INTRO magazine award will take place on September 12, 2023, at CAMP

The INTRO magazine Award nominated 38 realizations from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. These are works that have been published in the INTRO magazine after a careful selection process, from March 2020 (INTRO 11) to March 2023 (INTRO 20), representing the last closed material cycle. From this group – which does not include projects involving members of the editorial board of INTRA – the following 12 realizations made it to the shortlist:

• Faculty of Humanities of Charles University, Reconstruction of the Dining Hall of the 17th of November Dormitory / Kuba & Pilař Architects
• Extension of the South Bohemia Science Library / Kuba & Pilař Architects
• Park Zdeňka Kopala / Eva Wagnerová, ENVICONS
• CSOB Headquarters – SHQ / Chalupa Architects
• Plaster Mill in Kravsko / ORA
• Memorial of Jan Palach in Všetaty / MCA Atelier
• Cemetery Facilities in Litomyšl / Kuba & Pilař Architects

Why another award for architecture?

“Since 2016, INTRO magazine has been striving to map the global architectural scene with the aim of increasing public interest in architecture and raising its standard. During the existence of our magazine, many remarkable realizations have emerged both here and around the world, which are rightly considered exemplary examples of quality architecture.
